Unfortunately doesn't carry enough power to charge a 3DS whilst in use! If you really need to top up the battery off a mobile power bank, this will do in a pinch, but be prepared for a long wait between play sessions.

Not good for new Nintendo’s!
Got the new 2017 Nintendo 3DS and the charger just dose not charge it! The seller is really good and very helpful works perfect on older Nintendo models
