Review written by my 12 y/o:I would rate these drumsticks a 5/5. They have a sturdy feeling that not all drum sticks give you, and they seem to last longer than others as well. I also like the number of sticks that come in the package. I definitely plan to ask my parents to buy them for me again.

I am not an experienced drummer, but I am trying to improve to at least get my song ideas down with a bit more depth. I also like the organic sound of actual drums (RE: it is easier for me to learn to drum than to figure out drum pads. I am weird).These sticks were not super expensive but worked far better for me than the practice ones I had. They are a bit longer than I was using them, and they respond better when I play. They are sturdy and seem to be an acceptable quality. I am not sure how experienced drummers will feel about them, but as a late adopter of the instrument, I believe that these are perfect.

These AODSK Drum Sticks,Classic 5A Drumsticks Comfortable Grip Hickory Wood are a nice pack of 2 drumstick sets. The 5A size feels comfortable in the hand and feel nicely balanced. I don't know a lot about drumsticks and ordered them to use as a beginner.There is a white and a black set. The paint is smooth and feels even. The product description says that they have a special finish that causes the surface to become "sticky" when heated up (because of heat from the hand). I tested this out by rubbing the drumsticks and causing a lot of friction and heat. When this was done, I found that these did feel more grippy on those parts of the drumsticks that were warmed by my hand. Overall, I am liking the feel and function of these drumsticks.
