Backyard Classics Naples Multi-Position Folding Chaise Lounge

This chair is a good quality chaise, BUT it does NOT lay all the way flat (like a bed). I even asked the manufacturer before purchasing it, and was assured it did go all the way to flat, but it is not true. I had to return this item, as I was looking for a chaise that could function as a poolside flat bed, this isn't it.However, I give it 4 stars because it was still a good quality chaise, and if you are not looking for one that flattens all the way, this could be a good option for you. I just wish the manufacturer would stop telling people untrue statements. :(

This chair/lounger needs to stick around. There are way too many chairs/loungers that you can NOT get out of. Gravity my a$$! This chair is your classic basic sunning lounge chair with actual arm rests. A step up from the old classic where you had to keep folding the top or bottom up then down with the side ratchet mechanism (those are a pain, but they are still around). This chair is very comfortable, and breathable the back of my knees don't get sticky like from others. I also do not understand what other reviewers claim it does not recline flat. How flat do you want it? It was very comfy on the body when in full position. If you want flat better off with a cot (with no arm rests). I like the mesh type fabric it doesn't cause marks on the skin over time of sitting. I am enjoying my chair.I have a similar model I purchased over 12-15 years ago,(about same price even) from a store, yep walked into one of those things like we did so long ago (a store) I was having a bad day so I bought a $50 yard chair $50 bucks just like money grew on trees. Yep there are days like these. I remember that day every time I sit in it. Mostly because I spent $50 bucks I really shouldn't have at the time and on a chair of all things for a balcony even (it barely fit) Anyways! I still have that chair. I like that CHAIR.I was trying to replace a canvas bench that lasted one season, brought it out this May and fell right through it. Good thing it sat low to ground also. :)(I have many canvas chairs some 15 years old, think I just got one sown bad) was not happy went to return it a local farm supply and they stopped caring them, so store credit, nope I needed/wanted a chair. I am so glad I found this chair and ordered it to find out for myself, it is near exact from my old one minus different material (old has wide PVC like plastic straps, comfy) and this one sits lower to the ground (like the height of old one better, its just a tad higher) Now I have 2 chairs. 1 I can still laugh at and 1 I can actually feel great about spending $50 on a chair.I like with both of these style of chairs the way the arm rests control the back of chair and you don't have to get up to adjust desired positions. Thinking about the set of chairs to go with my lounger as a future purchase to have a set. (a set of something. WOW!). Having fun in the sun!

I wanted an actual chaise lounge for toting around in my RV. I tried the zero gravity chairs and they didn't work for me because I wanted my legs up and supported without my head being back. This chair does the trick. It folds easily. It's comfortable for reading although I do put a throw on the bar behind my head. So far, it is holding up. I also bought the set of two chairs to match which are already falling apart on the seat area. The chaise isn't showing the same issue and I hope it doesn't. The only downside to the chaise is that it is low to the ground which works for my little dog but makes me realize i need to do some leg presses to strengthen my quads so I can emerge from the chaise more easily.

This is an awesome chair. Very comfortable, sturdy and nice looking. I actually thought they had stopped making this type of chair. I am not much for anti gravity chairs. I was thrilled when I found this. I would say this chair is perfect.

5 STARS, GREAT COMFORTABLE LAWN CHAIRS. I NEVER DID LIKE THOSE CANVAS LAWN CHAIRS....IT'S LIKE YOUR SITTING IN A BUCKET, NOT COMFORTABLE! NOT WITH THESE CHAIRS, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU READ THIS REVIEW. THEY DON'T HAVE THE 4" WIDE PLASIIC STRAPS TO SIT ON AND SEPERATE UNDER YOU BUTT. AS IN THE PICTURE THE SEAT AND BACK ARE ONE ENTIRE STRONG SHEET AND THE METAL FRAME CONSTRUCTION IS TIGHT AND STRONG AND NO HEAVIER THAN YOU REMEMBER THEM TO BE.

Really liked these chairs at first but now after 3 months of occasional use by average sized teenage boys both chairs are split at the seams. They are pretty much trash now as I'm afraid for the kids to continue to use them as I don't want them to get hurt if the seams rips all of the way while they are sitting in the chairs.

I was unable to get the chair to lay flat. returned it. It's a good quality chair though.

These have been a big hit. I've seen them all over town. They come assembled (YAY!!!) and fold up very easily. The head pad is adjustable. They are easy to carry and to throw in the back of the car. You can tighten the knobs on the sides to keep the chair reclined as much or as little as you like. Good value for the $$.
