Compatibility with USB 3.0 broke. Use a Type a to A (Very rare to find) or plug it into a 2.0 port.
The thing is different from the rest of the Drive docks and stands out flawlessly, I’ll give them credit, but if you’re hoping this will work with USB 3.0, it won’t. Was extremely buggy on USB 3.0, and I believe the driver thing was a error with packaging. Other than that, this seems to be quite a unique product, a little bit flimsy, but the amount of options is amazing. You can plug in IDE, it’s also good for people like me who do not have 3.5 inch bays and don’t want adapters. If you fixed these issues I stated and a few more, it’d be a solid 5. It’s light, and hopefully reliable.

This actually does a good job
This device may not be fancy but it handles IDE, SATA, and a bunch of the little flash drives very easily. Takes 3 days to bleach bit a 750Gb drive, but it works great. Easily handles plugging in drives and mounting them onto you system. Worth every penny.

Does not always work
I have had a lot of mixed success with this device. I had hoped to plug an play the many hard drives I have laying around. Of the dozen or so I have tried only two have connected to the computer and only when using a USB 2.0 wire. I have tried several USB 3.0 and 2.0 cables only one 2.0 cable has connected the drive bay to the computer. My reason for buying this product was the ability to take different drive types and remove the data to a different device I have had it three weeks now and and have not completed a single successful backup.

Reliable and versatile docking station.
I use this doing station when I travel and it is very handy as it is not too big to pack and will use most size drives and memory cards. If you need to be prepared like I do, I recommend you take a look at this one.

Great add on for my new laptop
I finally upgraded my 15 year old desktop to a high end laptop but it has no drive in it at all. This works great for reading all of the old drives that were in the old computer.

Features,functionalities , price too good to be true
This. Product structure and its insert compartments were not well built.As I attempted to insert a SD card, the sd housing came apart from the inside while pushing the card in.
