Back 2 Bizness: The Return of the Mayor

At 1st I didnt want to get this book because I wasn't a fan of the mayor. But I bought another book to where gaps was missing so I put that book down and waited for this one to arrive. So glad I did. I really connected with the mayor and learned to love his character. This book was definitely needed to put his role into perspective. A good read from beginning to end. Im sad about the ending but I know it had to end that way. The author did an excellent job.

The block series is definitely one of my favorite series. This book was everything I thought it would be from the beginning till the end. In the beginning I didn't care for the Mayor because he was so cocky and arrogant. This book he has grown and matured so much. I love that he takes care of All his people the inmates that he was locked up with even down the homeless man. He made sure everyone ate. Mayor came home from prison and had one thing on his mind and that was money and flooding the streets with the best heroine with the help Manson the blood leader and his cousin Smoke. In a short period of time he made 3 half million dollars and made sure his whole city ate. I love the brotherly bond that Mayor and his attorney Tony has they loved one another. The block party series is one the realistic street novels I've read. Al-Saadiq I love your books keep pen grinding and as long as you write I will buy. Complete turn pager

My fave book out of the block party series, thiz thang here played just like a good 3hr. Movie thay you don't want to end The mayor wasn't playing honey! ...👏👏Kudos to Mr. Banks can't wait for BP5k1 to arrive!!!🤗

I've read all of Al-Saadiq Banks's books and loved everyone of them, that includes this one. It was a page turner from start to finish, I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. Even through the story jumped around it all came together at the end and the ending, I was kind of disappointed at the end but I saw it coming, however I still enjoyed it, that is all I'm going to say about it, your just going to have to go out and buy the book. I can't wait for Al-Saadiq's next book.

Love it love it love it

This book was action packed from beginning to end. Al-Saadiq did not disappoint with this latest installment of the Block Party series.

Another five star read from one of my favourite authors in the urban lit game, the Mayor finally hits the streets after years of being locked up and two things are guaranteed with his release, the murder rate sky rocketing and serious money being made, if you have been sleeping on Al Saadiq banks its time to wake the hell up because urban fiction don't get no realer than this!!!
