Easy Installation!!
I purchased this kit so I wouldn't have to worry anymore about gasoline going bad, even with stabilizer. My Honda EU2200i mostly sits around unused waiting for a power outage. The thought of being able to use propane as well as gasoline or natural gas seemed like a no brainer for me. The kit arrived earlier than the expected date in perfect condition. Installation couldn't have been simpler and everything fit perfectly. In my opinion it's a well engineered kit with high quality parts and top notch instruction. Now I won't be afraid to run my generator every few months to make sure it's in good working order instead of finding out during a power outage. It's really about peace of mind for me and I highly recommend purchasing this conversion kit from Hutch Mountain, great customer service too!!!

Great Product
When I got the kit it only took me less than an hour to install the components. Making sure I had the right orifice installed for propane the generator fired up right away after 2 pulls. I later decided I wanted to hook up my natural gas line from the house to have a longer lasting supply of fuel in the event of an extended power outage. I learned that in order for that to happen you need to get the pro kit which allows you to quick disconnect the propane connection (in the second picture) from the main fuel regulator so that you can tie into the natural gas line with its own quick disconnect hose from regulator to gas source. I called customer support and they picked up right away and was able to order the additional parts with Derek’s help. I highly recommend this product for it versatility and ease of install and use!

Installed Easily, Works Well
I feared installing this item on my eu2200, but it turned out to be pretty easy. The job took me about an hour including getting my tools out and putting them away, with frequent stops to study the several excellent You Tube instructional videos on the subject. (As of this writing all of these videos cover the eu2000 only, but because the eu2200 installation is a very similar but simpler operation they're still useful for the newer model. It's obvious which steps to omit.) At first my generator-- which runs perfectly on gasoline-- was a bit rough on propane. When I contacted the good people at Hutch Mountain about this, they answered the phone almost instantly and spent nearly an hour patiently talking me through the problem. It turned out that I'd received a defective propane regulator. They promptly shipped me a new one, and this did indeed about 98% solve the problem. I don't have a lot of hours on this setup yet, and probably won't for years to come since I don't run my generator very often. But the installation was easy and the support excellent. All the components seem to be rugged and of top-quality, and the finished product looks like the factory engineered it that way to begin with. I've found that I much prefer propane to gasoline operation, especially for short monthly check-up runs. With propane, I don't have to worry about even tiny residual amounts of gasoline drying out and gumming up the carburetor. Plus, propane is much easier to store and handle. Yes, it costs a bit more and reduces the power output a little. But for me the positives far outweigh the negatives. As a side note, I used a spade bit instead of the recommended step bit to drill the required hole in my housing. It worked perfectly well.As another side note, I learned in passing while completing this project that a professional shop requires a special certification to perform this conversion, and very few shops have one. So if you buy this, you'll probably have no choice but to do the installation work yourself. The job is so simple that it's silly for a certification to be required, but that's just the way things are.

Propane conversion
The parts they give you are excellent, and the installation is easier than making toast.

Too finicky for me
After spending time trying to dial in the correct gas flow rate, it occurred to me that this was proving to be a real waste of time and money. Wish I could send it back. If it isn't going to run right at 70 degrees, then it's not going to run at all when it's 40 degrees below zero.
