easy to use for any age
The standing desk is very sturdy, it wont go anywhere unless you move it. There is a thin foam pad that runs all along the bottom edge so it doesn't scratch your desktop. I was tired of sitting all day at work and then coming home and having to sit again, so now i have the choice to stand or sit. I can adjust the height very easily so its easy and comfortable for my arms. The surface of the desktop is not skimpy, there is plenty of room to put my mousepad, stapler, pens, and a sheet of paper if i am typing something. If i move my laptop all the way to the back, I can even fit a full size keyboard for the times i dont want to type on my laptop keys. If i moved everything to one side i could even fit an extra monitor on it I think the price is reasonable and I cant think of one negative thing about it unless you have a tiny desk and it wont fit.

Solid and sturdy
Am very happy with my CASIII standing desk riser. Installs(unboxes) in just a couple of minutes and is dead simple to follow along with the instructions; mine came with the keyboard tray which was only four screws. I have two very large 27" monitors and have it at the top of the stated weight rating. Raises and lowers very easily and securely, no movement or wobble even at the very tallest setting(or anything in-between). One important thing that is not evident when looking at the pictures and description is that when you have the desk in any particular position, it is *locked* in place mechanically. It is not just relying on the gas shocks but instead, the pins lock securely into place as pictured in my attached photo. The red arrows indicate the "steps" and the locking/unlocking lever. This mechanism makes it secure and rock solid when in the various positions.

GREAT DESK!
Well made, smooth operation, stable.. should have bought this years ago! The mechanism to raise & lower the work surface operates perfectly and remains rock-solid as it goes up & down so nothing falls off (including my ever-present coffee). When folded down to the lowest setting, it's compact enough that it still allows for a perfectly comfortable work area. When extended to standing height, there is absolutely NO shake or wobble, and it remains perfectly adjusted.

Happy user!
Bought this to use at work because I sit all day behind a computer. Getting the old "secretarial Spread"! It is working out very well. It comes in one piece so there is nothing to put together and it is easy to use. It is quite heavy so just be careful of that. I am quite happy with it.

It is very sturdy. Should get a 5 star for that
It is very sturdy. Should get a 5 star for that. I spent the whole day reading all the reviews for the different products. This one had the least criticism about the quality. The quality IS very nice. However, most of us want to use these things for our bad backs. I ruined mine trying to get this on the desk (41.5 lbs) and trying to make it all work for me. I could not fit really well two 21.5 monitors. But the problem was I could not get it to go up once it had a little weight on it and I could not make it go down either. I am 61. (but I can use a weed wacker just fine!) I am returning it. Be aware it is a real pain (literally) to try and box it all back up. I was so hoping this would work. Thought about trying the "Slim" version at 25 lbs... but don't want to go thru this again. I don't where the "slim" was a few days ago when I ordered! but all the reviews look like they are used on the same manufactures product. I thought there was supposed to be keyboard tray from the review. But there was not. It was very reasonable at $116, and it is nicely made, straight out of the box use, but I think if your a little gal like me with a bad back you shouldn't waste your time.

Height adjustment
This unit, while solidly built, is impossible to move up and down. We purchased two different sizes and they are both very stiff. Also, it would have been nice if the keyboard tray was adjustable in and out. There is no real work space with this unit.

Well worth the money and adjustments needed!!
I've only had the desk riser for a week and I notice a huge improvement in my energy level. I feel much more productive and positive with less sitting.I also have a 30 min ride to work and would experience leg numbness, aching and restlessness from sitting in the car and toward the end of the day before the riser. After just 5 days with the riser, my leg issues have resolved. That's amazing! And will save time and $ for visits to chiropractor.I was concerned the riser would be difficult to operate but it is very smooth and easy! I'm making adjustments to the items on the riser, my mouse has flown off and landed on the desk when the riser was up.It is thicker than I anticipated due to the scaffolding parts tucked inside but I am getting used to the desktop being taller when the riser is in lowest position. I got a few items that adhere to the monitor to save desktop space.
