Excellent quality foot light switch that has replaced a faulty one., extremely easy to fit with good instructions that are easy to follow

I bought this to replace the original switch on my lamp, which had stopped working.I am not a fan of any kind of DIY task, but even I found the fitting of this replacement switch straightforward.It works well and is at least as good as the original switch that it replaced - perhaps better.I hope you find these comments helpful.

Good quality and easy to fit.

To remove the cover just insert and twist a small screw driver as shown in the instructions. So simple both sides do not need to be done at the same time. The switch is very user friendly for the elderly. We used it for a standard lamp that was very hard to turn on with the small slider in the bulb holder. School level DIY skills are needed. The detailed instruction make it very easy.

Does the job, not the best quality.

Does what it says but casing needs to be kept out of the way as could easily be broken.

I initially balked at paying £6.50 for what is badically just a simple spring loaded floor switch that probably came out of a Chinese factory for a quid, however I have been impressed by how sturdy it has been so far.Only gripe is the awful fitting instructions so a job that should have taken me 10 mins took over twice as long.
