Inconsistent quality
Bought two pair. One pair wouldn't stay up after the first time worn (no, they were not stretched or mistreated). The other is a little better, but still need some fixing up a couple times during the day. I think I got a bad batch, because I'd bought another pair in a different pattern at a different time that are better. I have muscular calves and the shape of my leg is such that knee socks should stay up without much problem if the elastic is of a decent quality.In all cases, I find the material a little thin in that you can almost see through it in spots. Not the nicest presentation, but in summer I don't mind a thinner sock. I agree with those who say they're just a little short for knee socks; they should be a centimeter longer. I'm 5"10', longer torso/shorter legs. These socks do not have any cushioning or reinforcement, and patterns do not wrap around the foot, so if these run big for you, some "no pattern" parts of the foot may show outside your shoe. I walk a lot and expect to get a year out of them aside from the defective ones.2 stars because of the inconsistent quality and defective pair, 3 stars if they hadn't been. The patterns look good; the material is acceptable if unexceptional.

Perfect fit and feel
These socks come up to just below my knee, exactly as I like them. I wore them to work, where I walk a lot, and they stayed right up there. They also look very classy.

Nice socks.
They are nice and well constructed. But they are not 'over calf' for guys that are over 6'. If they were I would have given them a 5.

whats better than fresh socks?
Please Note: I was given these socks for a honest review.1st off I love the length of these socks, i would say this is a tall shin sock but not a true knee high. Fit is perfect, coloring is vibrant, stitching looks and feels strong with no errors or hanging threads. Feel? well there is nothing better than fresh socks IMO and these are amazing on your feet with a correct shape that doesnt bunch up in any area while in your shoes. Good elastic that stay up on your shins without hot spots - I haven't washed them yet. If something comes up I will update this post. I would purchase these in the future.
