When tuning your vehicles suspension, there are many ways to change your vehicles handling characteristics. Springs, Dampers and alignment all play huge parts in affecting how your vehicle handles, but no component has as drastic effect on your body roll as the Anti-Sway bars without adversely affecting your ride quality. Buy a better sway bar
There’s a reason this sway bar is cheaper than the norm. They don’t have the same level of quality control. You may get a good one, I didn’t. The bushings aren’t capable of being in the same position due to the retainer rings being welded at different measurements. In this case one of them is too close to the bend and it won’t close completely. Save some more money and buy a better sway bar.

What GTI suspension should be
The problem with the GTI (other than track durability) from the factory is that it understeers pretty heavily. The ST swaybar is a one step solution to get the car to neutral handling. It isn't stiff enough that the car oversteers (swaps ends at speed) even when trail braking. The car was predictable and solid both in street driving and on the track with the heavier bar. On the track, the change was noticeable and about 2 seconds quicker on Summit Point Main with no other modifications or even really driving hard.

Best suspension upgrade. Good quality
Installed on 2019 GTI with stock suspension. Does what it’s supposed to do by improving turn in and reducing understeer. Helps the car feel more nimble. Best suspension upgrade for actual improvement in performance.I installed it with the rear wheels of the car on ramps. Lowered the suitcase muffler and rested it on a to get the old bar out and new bar in. Took around an hour. Suggest watching a DIY video first to learn the little tricks that save you time. Pretty easy job.

Always the first upgrade to improve handling
Tightens up the rear end body roll, just like it’s supposed it. All the information points to this bar being solid rather than hallow, which is a big plus!
