Ontario Rat-3 OD Green

For the price, this knife is solid and strong with a good steel. If you need a lower-cost smaller fixed blade, this is definitely a decent option. However, as you'd expect based on price point, the fit and finish are nowhere near the quality of the ESEE-3 version (which is twice the price), and the handle is slightly shorter than the ESEE, which may or may not be good for you. I probably would have kept this knife had I not had such problems with the sheath: I first ordered the plastic version, and the knife literally did not fit into it without me shoving as hard as I could. Needless to say this made removing the knife next to impossible, and definitely unsafe. So I returned that one for the nylon sheath version, and that sheath is just worthless. Surely Ontario can design a better (but still affordable) nylon sheath that's more functional and attractive than this one - it's basically a plastic box wrapped in thin nylon with a strap at the top. But maybe you don't care about this, or you can make your own kydex or leather sheath. The knife itself is fine, if a bit rough looking.In the end, I returned both versions and got an ESEE-3 instead. After taking into account the cost of an aftermarket sheath, the ESEE 3 was only a few bucks more expensive. Worth it to me for a truly gorgeous knife.

Did not come with Green Kydex belt sheath like decription states but came with a plastic covered nylon sheath.
