This Tawa is small. It doesn’t sit evenly on the stove, I have to place something under the handle to prop it up

Light weight and easy to clean . Not fitting grilled gas stove

I expected a cheap, flimsy griddle/comal....but, this is excellent. It is well machined aluminium with a sturdy handle and a good looking non stick coating. The bottom is machined flat so it will be stable on flat burners. My dome griddle cover fits this perfect, can be used to grill bacon or burgers. Even if the non stick falls off it will be good for heating tortillas. Read the excellent instructions about care of the non stick coating, treat all of your non stick items like this and they will last much longer. Made in India.

Overall, this product gets the job done and the roti skin comes out fine, but there's a difference between cooking on non-stick vs. cast iron pans. You don't get the heat marks on the roti that you normally get from cast iron and for that reason, I'll probably invest in a cast iron instead, but this product works fine for basic needs.

Wish it was bigger

I will take the blame because I didn't read the description, but the pan was actually smaller than I though. I'm going to keep it and use it to make Naan bread. I may order another pan that's larger for a tawa pan.

I really like this pan. I use it daily for my roti's. I did think it would be bit bigger so I can make dosas but it's still good for roti. It's pricier then what I would've paid in India, but I don't go back home much so I had to buy from amazon.

It is so unbalance it’s horrible. I definitely want a refund, this is not what I had in mind when I purchased it. Very sad.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s good for making Roti’s and pancakes. It’s light but the steel is thick enough so your food does not burn. The handle is low profile so it’s a space saver but i would prefer it to be a touch higher. More comfortable to grab in my opinion. I found it a bit pricey but it’s hard to find just the right size for roti’s without a pan edge and with a covered cool touch handle that is not thick for small hands

Pretty good but I wish it was a little bigger and heavier.All in all well worth the money though.
