Screw Cap Leaks
Unlike my many other un-insulated Purist water bottles, this one leaks all over me when I take drinks. My wife has one too, and it leaks all over her. We have to fiddle repeatedly with the screw cap to get it from leaking around the perimeter. Every other Purist bottle I own, seals tight and doesn't leak a drop.

Purist Technology, BPA Free, Great Insulation & Keeps my water cold!
I absolutely LOVE this bottle. Here's why:--Uses Purist Technology so it has a clean taste unlike many other plastic bottles. Almost like drinking from a glass bottle--Nothing sticks or grows inside so it's easy to clean--BPA-free plastic that's flexible and easy to squeeze--Fits easily on my bike and lightweight enough to travel with--Larger mouth size so you can fit in ice easily and the insulation really keeps the water cold--Cap doesn't leakOverall I'm very satisfied and can't wait to take it on my next hiking trip!

Lacks handle. Keeps water colder.
UPDATE: Bottle to deteriorates over time rendering the bottle useless.Original Review:Almost perfect and one ounce short. Compared to Polar Insulated Water Bottles (I own three), the Purist 23 oz Insulated Water Bottle holds temperature better - the water stays cooler longer! However, the inconvenience of a handle and 23 oz versus 24 oz for Polar are things to be considered especially considering the very high price point for the Purist.I bought this bottle on sale to replace a Polar bottle I lost on a hike. I use insulated bottles when cycling, hiking, and when out and about in hot weather. Not having a handle isn't much of an issue when cycling (save to help carry the bottles to and from) but when walking and hiking, the handles have been an invaluable tool. So my daily early morning 2-4 mile hikes with my canine companion has me leaving the Purist bottle in the car while I handily carry the Polar bottle. Most disappointing that the Polar handle will not fit the Purist bottle.I am not the first reviewer to complain about the lack of a handle.

Okay for a two hour bike ride in the heat, but...
I don't know where all the claims came from, stating that this thing keeps ice frozen for hours. But since my rides are rarely more than two hours, it's perfect.

Awesome
I've used Polar bottles and Camelback insulated bottles and these by far take the cake. I love the MoFlo valve so I picked these up before a trip to Hawaii. These keep water colder, and longer than the others by far, I noticed that I still had cold water 2.5 hours into my ride, which has never happened before. With the purist, cleaning is super easy and great for use every day. These will be my new go to bottles in summer for sure.

My work is only for an hour and it keeps the liquid cool. I recommend using larger ice cubes and for cooler liquid it is best if it is cold before pouring it into the bottle. I like the spout because even when it is open the liquid will not spill out because it takes considerable force to squeeze the bottle to push out the liquid. If you have a weak hand I suggest you pass on making the purchase.

Excellent water bottle. Exactly what I expected from Specialized as the Purist series have all been very good.
