Works as stated
The only reason I have left 4 stars instead of 5 is it only recognises files with 8.3 file name format, If the file name has more or less than 8 characters then the file does not show, I am not sure if this is due to the Ipad or this device, It took me a while to figure out the problem, I had photos from a Samsung phone (Android) and it can't see them as the file names are to long, so would need to rename all 2000 photos. Also they do need to be in a folder called DCIM to be seen. I have seen low ratings on other similar devices due to not working so this could be the issue with those as well.

Connects immediatley!
Bought this to plug my keyboard controller into my ipad. Works immediately and powered the keyboard to enable me to play through Garageband. Excellent piece of kit at a fraction of the price of the apple version

Works great !
This works perfectly. You plug in your sd card from your camera to the reader. Then plug the reader lightning cable to your iPhone. The photos from your card pop up without any additional steps. Select the photos you want and import. Could not be easier. No apps to download, it just works automatically. The reader has a picture of how the sd card loads to the reader. Great product !

Works great on iPhone 7, 8 and iPad Pro
Plug and play... really that easy. Just make sure you have the SD card in the dongle before plugging it into your device. Super easy to use, no app to add or manage. It lets you delete or keep items on the SD card. This is now my go-to way from my DSLR camera to my iPad with auto sync to my Google Drive. Awesome.

This is changed my life. Having this with you when your memory card gets full and you can simply plug it into your phone. And transfer to your phone or directly to your cloud. It's a must-have. It Works, Super
Works fine with my Samsung Tab A tablet. I can load pictures from my camera sd card or use it to transfer files to the micro sd card inside without taking it out. I have not tried the micro connection but everything else works well. These days you don't always get something that works and this does.

Must have for photographers
I'm a photographer who hates cords. This nifty little gadget makes life so much easier. I can take the SD card out of my DSLR and download pictures to my Surface and cell! It's small which is both a blessing and a curse (easily lost) and the caps can easily be misplaced since they are not tethered to the device. All in all it serves its purpose and does it well!

Five Stars
This works great. I particularly like having the microSD slot for loading in GoPro or drone videos/photos. Couldn’t ask for anything better, Price point was fine, much less than the Apple version and it worked as good as could be hoped for.
