Water resistant not proof, granted we did not use it with the cover, just the bag. We used it on a small Honda Civic. The car has no roof bars. We drove from west to east coast without any issues. There was only little water in the bag at the end but nothing was damaged. We dealt with high winds 60+ mph and still was fine. Just make sure it’s tight and done right and you’re good. It fits a decent amount depending on how you pa k things. If you have questions, ask I’ll tell you the truth.

Only used once but that was a 2400 mile trip. It held up fine. Not the best quality, but will do the trick. I stuffed it pretty good and the zippers held, no tearing, the tie cords worked fine.

Not sure how it stayed on, but this was only good for one trip. Denver to LA and the seams were ripping with a massive tear on the top. Good thing it was tied up with the cover which doesn’t actually fit because of the strap design. This thing is garbage. Just buy an actual hard shell roof locker if you’re reading this.

Actual cargo is great but weather covering is a piece of crap. I used once and it ripped on both sides. Unbelieveable

The description I read said this will work with or without a rack on top of your car. We don't have a rack so we installed the car top carrier on the roof of the car with a grip pad we bought separately. You have to make the tie downs run in though the car doors. This was a huge problem. It rained and the water ran down the straps and leaked inside the car. the car top carrier itself did not leak. Also the straps included are not enough to secure the carrier by this method and we had to use additional ones we had. The camo cover seemed like a nice addition to keep everything dry. However, it has clips that don't really seem to match up with the clipped on the actual carrier...also no instructions on how it is supposed to attach to the carrier are included. Plus it didn't attach or fit very well. It flapped in wind and could not be completely secured and the wind pretty much ripped it to shreds on the first leg of our trip. We had to buy Gorilla Tape to repair it for the return trip. I wouldn't recommend this product and I am actually going to attempt to get a refund for it since it leaked and was partially destroyed.

Bag is super sturdy and has held up to three long trips so far. Went through a terrible rain storm and only had a small wet spot on one bag that was crammed in the carrier near the zipper. I think that can be expected knowing the storm we went through. Overall a great purchase in my opinion. Nice to have a carry bag to fold it up and stow away when not in use. Would definitely buy again.

Sit steady on the roof. (I put it on protective non-slip mat) . Waterproof. (tested with mild rain condition). With proper design Gas mileage has slightly gone down. Storage bag is good. Satisfied with this cargo bag.

I use this bag when I transport clients to San Francisco International Airport. I can transport 4 carrying on bags in bag and secure the bag with straps that are on carrier bag. Plus I use 2 safety straps to make sure the bag is secured for the 102 mile trip to SFO.
