WETSOX Explore More Thermal Socks- Waterproof, Breathable, Moisture Wicking (Crew Length)

I purchased 2 pairs of these socks for a trip to Pierre South Dakota from Feb 23-March 2,2019, just returned home, I’d say they did somewhat of a good job, weather for week avg anywhere from -3 degrees to high of 15 without windchill added.I would recommend using liners and toe warmers. They didn’t perform perfectly with just the socks on, once my feet began to sweat they got cold fast.Used them in my middle grade muck boots.They seem to be well made, no rips etc for what I used them for

You can't get waterproof and merino wool products of this quality for any cheaper, will buy more in future, true to size chart, warm, feels like a real sock, looks great, can't wait for WETSOX to expand to more products to take on Sealskinz, Dexshell and other pricier companies

I gave 2 stars because the socks keep feet warm and dry. I realize they are made with moreno wool and have to be cleaned by rinsing in water only then hang drying. Even doing this after each use has still not gotten rid of daily wear nor helped with feet smell. They look dirty after 3 wears and no soap can be used.

I have a small shoe size so often socks don’t fit well. But these stretch to your foot size without extra bulk. I love these socks because they really keep my feet warm but they aren’t bulky. I no longer have to have over-sized boots to accommodate my socks. Also, my feet tend to get cold extra quickly with other thermal socks but these work.

I use them for winter hiking. Keep my feet warm and dry. I also use them for running in all winter conditions. I live in the country and roads do not always get plowed in a timely manner. I have to run in sneakers sometime in snow and rain. I always have dry warm feet with these socks. A bit of a hassle to wash and dry but worth the effort.

I’ve had waterproof socks before that were actually waterproof but were not a knit material (like normal socks) . These actually are both! Great comfortable socks!

Used these socks at the spartan beast in tahoe. After the water obstacles I had to change my socks and I used these socks to change into. They kept my feet warm for the rest of the race and all the way home. They wear a little bit big and are kind of stiff.
