Good but hard to configure
I thought I'd write a simplistic instruction which hopefully will help a few of you as the instructions are a waste of time! You'll also need a 64gb micro SDcard and a 10m extension lead for the camera, on the bottom of the camera are 4 screens, unscrew these and you'll see a slot for a micro SDcard, place you micro SDcard in hereconnect camera to power supply and turn it ondownload the 'AI VIEW' app for your mobile phone and run it, there is a QRcode for app in the instructions if you cannot find it in the app store.AI VIEW will ask you to scan a QR code which is a sticker on the camera.at some point it'll ask you to login or create an account, type in your email address and make up a password, make sure you remember this password as you'll need it again.you'll then need to connect your mobile phone to the camera, on your phone look for a wifi signal named HISPC-XXXXXX (XXXX is a series of numbers after the HISPC) it'll ask you for a password which it tells you in the app, mine was 12345678once you have connected to HISPC-XXXX click 'back' on your phone and hopefully you'll now be viewing what the camera sees, click on the picture and you'll goto the next screen which is the live screen, at the bottom you should see a gear, click this gear and it will take you to device settings, scroll down until you find 'wireless settings' in here you need to select your wifi that you use for you laptop or pc i.e. virgin media, BT, SKY what ever it is that you connect to, and type in your wifi password.once you've done that you should be up and running, on your phone you can now connect to your home wifi instead of HISPC_XXXXXYou can also access the camera via your pc or laptop, to do this go to the camera device settings on your phone and select 'LAN settings' and you'll see the and IP address (this is the cameras IP address), open internet explorer on your pc or laptop and type in that IP address in the top bar (where you'd normally type in an website address)here you type in admin and what ever password it might have asked you to setup, it might also ask you to install an OCX plugin, if you did need to install the PCX plugin then chances are internet explorer won't work until you've rebooted your laptop or pc.This remote login doesn't seem to work for google chrome even though I tried installing the OCX plugin. From the remote access on your pc or laptop you can change loads of settings and can keep the live view open to watch anything happening. If you click on 'configuration' then 'record capture' you might see 'HTTP' if you click this it'll open up a new internet explorer window that will show you a folder list, from here you can see all the MP4 video files that the camera has been recording, if you right click any of these files and select 'save as' you can then have a copy of the video file saved to your pc or laptop, although you will see a file with an extension .TMP, it's best not to download this as chances are you won't be able to view the video as this is the file that is currently being written to.for the best quality:- while in the settings via a pc or laptop click 'Audio & video' and the settings I use for 'master stream' areresolution 1080pframe rate 15 (30 is smoother)

A1 Camera especially for wildlife.
Fantastic piece of kit, got it on a 12 volt 7ah Lead acid rechargeable alarm battery which lasts about 9-10 days between charges when on 24/7 ( battery in wproof box, camera on top ) to move around back garden for wildlife stuff, works great up to 15-20 metres from house ( have Net-gear WiFi booster fitted in back of house though ) easy to setup and configure, once done on cable can be altered with PC when in situ via WiFi.

Great overall quality for the price, better than most I've tried. I'd recommend this to anyone.
Very good quality video quality when video is played back from MicroSD card on TV or computer. (not very good watching live on phone or tablet although not bad)It wasn't very hard to set up and install, the App (AI View) is fantastic and has multiple features which are useful. You get notified when any motion is detected and it records the clip for 1 minute for you to watch on the app or download. If you didn't want to use a MicroSD card you have an option of paying $4.99 per month for cloud storage. It connects to the mains outlet but the cable isn't very long (6-9 foot) and it has an option for ethernet also.WiFi has pretty decent signal strength, camera is approximately 20-25 foot from router.Video quality is very good and the night vision is great compared to some camera's I've installed. The screws supplied aren't the best quality, I'd use a better alternative. I'd recommend this camera because it's better than I thought it would be.

Trouble with finding software app and loading.
I've spent two days trying to get the lan or WiFi working. Scanned the bar code but cannot get AI Viewer app..Will try CamHi tomorrow. I aamsure that if you received a disk with software on it it would make it easier.

Good camera rubbish alarm
Got 2 of these installed on our garage. great picture qquality but the alarm is absolutely useless. After 4 months it's constantly alarming even when disarmed. Waste of money if you want it to use this as it'll drive you mad.
