Conair Salon Results Detangling Hairbrush - For Men and Women, All Hair Types with Nylon Bristles

I have thick, course hair, and I really like these Conair hair brushes which are able to tame my hair. I have been using this style of brush for some time (decades), and when after many years of hard use, my old brush broke, I found it easier to just order a new one from Amazon rather than making a trip to Target or CVS. It arrived on the anticipated delivery date, new and in the original packaging. I like the blue color of this brush which goes with my bathroom decor, and the brush works to brush my hair as expected.*This review was made in good faith based on my personal experience with the product. I use this everyday, mostly with my hair wet, but sometimes while my hair is dry to pull it back or comb out the tangles that sneak in over my day. I like the brush grip, I love the teal color, and I’m satisfied with how it works for me. That said, the brush does seem even more effective with my shoulder length hair than when my hair was long.I have thick hair, so when my hair was long it was difficult to get the brush through all the layers. When I shifted my long hair, I’d inevitably locate more tangles. However, I was also admittedly overdue for a haircut at that point.I do replace the brush regularly though, especially if the hair builds up to where it can’t be entirely removed or if I damage the bristles while combing out stubborn tangles. This is my third brush over the last few years, but so far it’s still my preferred hairbrush. I’m predicting it may last longer with my shorter hair too as there are less tangles to fight.

I have an earlier version of this brand/brush with a silver-like floor where the bristles attach, and what I miss is that this new version in the body/floor of where the bristles attach - the bristle floor from tip to where attached to handle is not as long. The handles are same length but the brush floors are not same length. Also preferred the very soft ringed handle on mine as it feels more comfortable in hand, & comfort is important for seniors, whereas this new handle feels very hard when gripped while brushing hair.

This is my second purchase. The 1st was lost (lol). This brush gets the job done after a wash. I'm going to purchase 2 more, just in case! Very sturdy and gets your tangles together and allows a smooth process to your desired style! It works for all hair types.

I have long thick hair and the bristles on this brush are perfect. Other hair brush bristles are too short and fragile, not this one. I use it in the shower with conditioner, and there is a fair bit of resistance at first, but it quickly loosens up after a few attempts. Would recommend, but not for someone who wants a soft hair brush.

I got this brush because I wanted something wide and sturdy for my naturally coarse, long hair. I will use my Tymo Ring straightener now and then, but this brush and my "Conair Salon Brush for Men and Women" are my go-tos because they move through my natural hair smoother than some other brushes I have tried. This brush helps to keep my hair's natural oil, soft, and manageable feel when I use it after the straightener brush, and with daily brushing before styling my hair. Both brushes work great. They are sturdy and comfortable brushes for daily use. The price was awesome. I have been using Conair products for over 20 years, and they never disappoint. Yes, I would recommend them for gifts.

Some of the bristles are tweaked and pointing in the wrong direction. I’m hoping over time it settles into where it should be. The brush is alright, nothing special, does the job.
