Easy to fit
I have used other types of rodent valves previously to properties I own. These are a little more expensive, but much easier to fit and very effective. The main access for rats to a property is the drains, often via a break or a disused drain under a new extension, this time the rats disappeared in 2 days. They can leave but can't get back in, they look really confused when they came back to try and regain entry. Exclusion, is better than poisoning and all the hassle that brings.

Easy to use
I worked which was my toilet in the drain and simply pushed this in. It went in easy and I have the peace of mind no rat will be coming up my drain pipe.

A good tight fit in the drain
I easily fitted this in my drain, using a bit of force. Waste water flow seems unrestricted but so far it is too early to say whether it prevents back flow.

Rat door
I’ve been having a problem with Rats coming through the waste water pipe. So I read the reviews and purchased. Very easy to fit even though putting my hands in the sewer was not pleasant, I await to see if the problem has gone. Valve is good and solid well worth the price ( hopefully)

Great idea but one was not up to scratch
The media could not be loaded. Update - December 2024I've purchased 3 of these now but one of them I had to return because I suspected that it wasn't sealing properly, I was right I because I filled it with water and it leaked because the edges of the body next to the seal were rough. This is meant to hold water and seal to prevent backflow. The unit arrived in a box and a bag, with a different glove - all of the other 3 only arrived in a bag with a nitrile glove - check the units carefully and do as I did test it with water to make sure it doesn't leak like a sieve as in the video.Following on from a recent floor and bubbles being blown back into our toilet, I decided I needed to get a "toilet" bung but whilst looking for a flood barrier I found this in one of my searches - and decided to purchase it from Amazon as it was the cheapest I found any of this style of non return valve!Fitting it wasn't easy as I had to get into the sewer and place it on the lower of the two outflow pipe work but I couldn't bend down to push it in by hand, so I used my foot and it slipped in with a bit of effort but went as far back as it would - due to the other pipe protruding out slightly more than the lower one.All in all, it works very well, lets see how it holds up to any further floods we might get and fingers crossed it stops my toilet from having flatulence and as a bonus stops any furry friends from popping their head up in the bathroom!

Unbelievable product
Was having problems with rats in downstairs of my house, blocked everything up all holes they was still getting in, someone suggested buying these drain blockers because they could be getting through the drains and into the walls, bought 5 of them blocked every drain entrance and it's been 2 week no more rats, so easy to fit just push them in. Great product

Easy fit, good quality
Appears well made and a simple push fit to locate In the pipe in a matter of seconds with a tap by hand. Came with a disposable rubber glove also.

An excellent purchase
This is the third valve I have purchased following problems I had with rodents gaining access to the wall cavities and ultimately to the attic. The rodent had gnawed its way through a flexible pipe beneath a downstairs toilet. The first two valves which I purchased five weeks ago I placed over the clay pipe access to the toilet and the other to the main sewage pipe run behind the house. I heard the rodent leave through the valve then it tried to get back in (I heard it banging its nose against the valve cover) and have heard nothing since. I bought this third valve to cover an en-suite sewage pipe as a precautionary measure. A most effective piece of kit.
