Four Kits Installed; Four Kits Work Fine
I purchased and installed four of these ceiling fan & light remote control kits; this package of three and a separate package of one. I installed them on a Harbor Breeze 44" Keyport fan with lights, two Harbor Breeze 52" Calera with co-installed Calera light kits, and a Hunter 52" Type T (new metal stamped motor frame version, not original cast iron motor frame with oil lubrication version) with co-installed Harbor breeze Calera light kit. All four of these units were simple to install having only five wires to connect; two clearly marked inputs and three clearly marked outputs. All four ceiling fans were installed previously about ten years ago using retrofit hangers (cut a hole in the ceiling, insert the mounting/hanging bracket with outlet box through the ceiling hole, and reach through the hole from below to adjust/expand the bracket to support the fan). These retrofit hangers a have small space for the wires and this receiver module, but by rearranging the wiring space was made available without modifying anything. I am pleased with the final result and would do it over again in a different house, if wife required. One of these existing fans gets used considerable more than the others and I've had to replace the pull chain switches and was expecting to have to repeat this again soon (not now). Three minor complaints against these fan & light kits are the wire nuts are too small, the two input wires need additional insulation stripped for the wire nuts, and the two wood screws for attaching the remote holder are not for drywall installation. As others have mentioned this kit does not have a light dimmer capability and it does NOT claim to have it. I did have a minor problem with the single kit package order; I was sent a USED/RETURNED unit that was inoperative, but Amazon made it good by sending a NEW one. I can't fault the manufacturer or the design for the practices of a vendor. All's well that ends well.

East to install, works fine
This doesn’t have the most or best feature (no light dimming) but works just fine and easy enough to install. The small package makes it easy to fit inside fan housing. It does have a beeper device that chirps from the control board each time a button is pushed on the remote. It’s meant as an audible feedback to let a user know the controller is receiving commands and the battery isn’t dead or disconnected. I found the beeping incredible annoying so I opened the receiver and physically removed the beeper from the circuit board before installing. It was extremely easy and now the fan functions silently. Totally possible and easy to do if you’re comfortable opening the box.Last note- the RF circuitry is fully digitized on a processor on this remote/receiver. If you lose your old remote (like I did), there’s no way to simply adjust the DIP switches like you could on older models to program a new remote if you lose it, you have to fully replace the receiver in your light/fan but the small form factor makes that easy enough.

Works well
Easy to install & works great. It is compact & easier to fit inside a small spot. Unfortunately there's no light dimming feature, I'll definitely miss that. And the beep sound with eveny button push isn't great, seems unnecessarily loud.

Works Well
I'm impressed! It was simple to wire in, and it works perfectly. Hope it lasts! One thing; I bought a different one from these folks first, which never worked. Money refunded. My point is the antenna on the first one, which is a wire that has to remain sticking out, was white, and disappeared against the ceiling. This unit's antenna is yellow, and though not intrusive, is far more noticable than the white one! Maybe people were having trouble confusing the white antennas with the white neutral wires, though each wire is clearly labeled. Anyway, minor, and not close to a deal breaker! I recommend it!

Works perfectly and each remote controls only one fan
I got three of these to control the three ceiling fans on our covered, open sided deck. They work exactly as described, and I'm happy. There is no way to change the frequency used by the individual remotes; One remote controls one fan. Since I have three fans and thus three identical remotes I used a fine-tip magic marker to make small dots on the white face of each remote: 1, 2 or 3 dots respectively, making it easy to see which remote controls which fan.I suppose it's possible if you order more than one of these remotes that you get two that are "keyed alike". I have no idea how many different combinations there are, but it can't be infinite.

Good fit.
Worked with a chained ceiling fan with light.

Great solution for flush mount ceiling fans
I have a flush mount ceiling fan (Harbor Breeze Armitage, 52") that is also the primary source of light in one of my rooms, and I was getting a bit tired of going to the center of the room to turn on the light, especially after dark.It was pretty straightforward to install the remote kit, which easily fit in the fan's housing - I've read that flush mount fans often don't have space for remote receivers, so I was glad to see that. I ended up using a command strip to mount the receiver to the ceiling (and also taped the wires to the receiver), so it wouldn't touch the rotating part of the fan, and that has worked well. The downsides, in my view, are very minor. The remote looks a bit basic/not stylish. My impression is that the max fan speed is a little slower than it was before, but it's still quite fast at the highest setting. All in all, an affordable solution to making my ceiling fan easier to use.
