SPURK GOLF Winter Strike Mat (Fairway protection and practice)

I bought my Spurk mat two years ago, after having used a much cheaper, plastic mat. The Spurk mat is vastly superior to the other one in so many ways! The spikes secure it to the fairway and the artificial turf is great quality, in fact, at this time of the year I much prefer hitting off the mat than the soft, wet ground! I think I'll miss it once the weather improves and the fairways dry up!The elastic loop secures it quickly and conveniently to your golf bag, so it's always at hand for the next shot... that is, as long as you don't forget to lift it once you've hit your shot! Several of my playing partners have had to tramp back to the previous hole to locate theirs. The only problem is that it is so realistic it is effectively camouflaged! Hint - write your name on the back so that you can claim it (if it's lost and then found!)

Best fairway mat ever !!!!!!I was never keen on using a mat but I’m glad my mate bought one first. It’s terrific to hit off, it doesn’t move at all. I’ve seen reviews that say it rolls off when the grounds not level, you only have to adjust the mat to compensate for uneven ground. Well worth the investment

Best golf mat out there!!Love it, take it too the course and protect the fairway. Purchase now Easy to use, and portable, I got the case for mine too. Just attach to side of your bag, and don't be shy about using it.

The mat is excellent, easy to use and I felt I made better contact with the ball than other mats I’ve used.However I discovered that on an uphill or downhill lie, the ball simply rolls off.

Excellent quality , works so well on the golf course. I will miss it in the summer when the fairways are firm.Wish l had bought the cover too as lm frightened the mat will fall off my bag

This is a superb product. Its relatively expensive but is a gamechanger. It's main standout is the stability it provides - works so much better than the plastic bristle version most clubs use. I would highly recommend. The stability spikes don't damage the turf either - i was worried about that before i ordered but it's perfect and does not leave much trace.

Great mat for hitting the ball on. The surface is very realistic just like being on fairway grass.Mat remains fixed in the ground without moving, can be used anywhere on a golf course.There is a hole which you can place a tee if you wanted to hit a ball off.Only negative is the piece of cord to hang the mat from your bag, it really needs something more substantial - I ended up placing it in one of the pockets after every shot.

It has spikes that hold the mat still and has a firm artificial grass base which provides good resistance for particularly iron shots....other mats I have used are too soft and so shots can balloon. Even if your contact is poor the Spurke mat enables a reasonable flight.
