Live Tropical Carnivorous Plant Drosera capensis Pink Flower (x1) - Potted

Gave this as a gift and then gifted to myself. I actually ordered two different species of this plant from a carnivorous plant resource as well (among other plants). Those didn’t arrive very well. Both my friend and myself, a couple months apart, received these in very good condition! The packaging of the plants was amazing. For carnivorous plants we both have found they tend to extremely dislike the shipping process—often arriving black and dried, or just totally miserable. For both of us, this was the only carnivorous plant we have gotten (both times) that arrived completely healthy and thriving (note my friend resides in florida and I in NJ, so different climates being shipped to as well). My friend’s plant has already flowered and mine that I got more recently is thriving beautifully. Typically I’m let down by my Amazon orders, funny because this is one where I would say Amazon all the way. THANK YOU!!! PS you need to run an educational seminar on carnivorous plant shipping lol (beyond these guys were acquired to manage some pests other sensitive plants detest. They ironically have been doing a better job at times than the Mexican Gigantea butterworts (those are often associated with regulating this issue for gardeners). Love. I imagine if you are dissatisfied, the only reasonable explanation is that you haven’t had a lot of experience with carnivorous plants and/or being on the receiving end of a shipment of one.

I've ordered a bunch of little carnivorus plants lately but only this one came happy and healthy. Care was taken. For example, it looks like thick moss was grown in it's pot from the outset. So when it was time to be sold and mailed the plant already had a built in "cap" to keep it in place during shipping, clever. Carefully packaged this Sundew arrived ready to rock. Nice job!

The plant they sent was very small, came with no potting or anything (which one of the reviews said it already came potted) and it looked withered and weary from the journey. We planted it but it doesn’t look to be doing well and already looks like it’s dying. We spent a lot of money for a tiny dying plant that is doing very poorly.

I want to take a second to give a huge kudos to this seller. I'm a big carnivorous plant collector. I have flytraps / pitcher plants but have never been able to find a Sundew locally. I was skeptical ordering any kind of plant online due to fear of carrier mishandling / damages. I am happy to say the sellers packed this plant with love. I received a perfectly healthy plant that is thriving. I would highly recommend this if you are looking to add a Sundew to your collection.

Packing and shipping ok. 1 plant arrived in great condition, ther other coming out of pot and some broken stems. Probably would not order again.

I received a very healthy plant that was very well packaged for protection. I have ordered many carnivorous plants and all this one required when received is to remove the packaging and add water. Very pleased customer!01/20/2022 Update- This plant is still thriving and is very healthy through two winters! I wish my Venus fly trap and pitcher plants did as well through the winter months. In the summer months, any flying bugs are captured by this amazing beautiful plant. It also creates beautiful flowers.

After clicking "buy now," I realized that my plant would arrive dead and frozen because I live in northern Minnesota and these guys ship so fast I couldn't modify the order!Instead, I'm pretty sure they packed the sundew with the the utmost of care into the saddlebag of a pegasus, who delivered it successfully AND early. I'm super stoked! It looks amazing!!!Thanks!! You guys did a great job!

Came in OK packaging, but had almost no life in it. Was not able to bring it back to health.
