Dry Film Lube, SLIP Plate, 16 Oz, Net 12 oz

Good product for undercoating underside of lawnmower decks.

With a new mower, I sprayed the cutting chamber. One thing you need to do is shake the can for a minute 5 or 6 times before spraying. Two coats I think I am good for the rest of this year. I will recoat as part of the winterizing. This product is grafite based. Protects the metal and makes grass slip off under power washing

The video I saw used the 'brush on' version, and said the spray type wasn't as tough. Well, that remains to be seen. I have a small lawn, takes me about 15 minutes to finish, including dumping the bag. Toro gas mower. It usually takes me about 10 minutes to clean it up after I finish, cuz I like to put it away clean.After 3 mowings, this stuff is still holding up very well. One 10 second spray with the hose and the underside of the deck is CLEAN. Nothing is sticking to it. Cut my cleanup time by 2/3's.This may not be the reason why you want to buy this, but for for this function, it works well. I plan on spraying the snow blower when that comes out. I used about 1/3 of the can on the mower. Double coated it.

Lid for can was broken on arrival. Other than that the product seems fine.It’s actually not suitable for my intended purpose, but that’s not the sellers fault.

Very efficient and product works well

I needed some exhaust manifolds for a 50 year old car.Because of the style of exhaust and the type of car, it was way too much money (and hard to find) to get new, so I bought used.Of course, these are also 50 year old parts, so I definitely wanted to coat them with something.Paint never seems to stick for me, and I saw in multiple places that people were using Slip Plate on their exhaust manifolds instead.So I went ahead and tried it.So far, I love it.Application was easier than paint, and dry time was much faster.The stuff coated my parts like a dream.I can tell that touch up will be simple and unnoticeable.The picture was just about an hour after the second coat was applied, and I haven't buffed them out yet.Maybe I should coat the whole car in it, lol.

My husband used this product on his lawnmower to keep the grass from sticking to the underneath. He said it works great.

I bought this for the underside of my mower deck, having read about the product elsewhwere. Unfortunately, it does NOT work to keep grass from sticking. Frankly, spraying with cooking spray works better.
