Got off to a shaky start, but now I LOVE it!!!
After doing Zumba Fitness Core, World Party was kinda hard to get used to. It seems like the visual cue box is smaller and there aren't as many cues, but then again there are way more combination moves in World Party, so it's not surprising. I love the fact that you get to watch real people dance rather than avatars because it's so much easier to see exactly what they're doing. I can't praise that feature enough! I grew up taking dance lessons, so I try to really break things down to get all the moves just right, and an avatar just can't accurately convey every little movement. There are a ton of fun songs and different dance styles, which keeps things interesting. There is also a good mix of easy and more challenging dances, with most of the dances being a good workout regardless of difficulty. You can do single songs, different class lengths, create your own class, or do a collection of dances from a certain country/region. I'm glad I gave it a chance and waited to review it! After the first time I played I honestly thought I would go back to exclusively doing Core, but I haven't even touched it since I got World Party. If you like dancing and Zumba, then you will love this!

Still a favorite
I purchased this game for my Xbox one about 10yrs ago and loved it. Since then, my Xbox one has been stolen but I still have my 360. I was super excited to see this was made for it as well! I'm a huge zumba fan and this game is great for getting your cardio in without having to leave the house.

I love Zumba and this is a good game for dance fans
I love Zumba, this is a good game for dance fans. Dancing doesn't feel like work, it's fun. You gotta exercise, so you might as well have fun, seriously.

Poor quality
Just as other people has written about the video game, once you put it in X-Box it turns the screen dark, and the X-box has to be restated in order for the game to start. It is really annoying. Just today I had to restart the X-Box three times 'cause the game would not start. Since the game is so popular, the makers should take care of the quality. It is a good game to exercise, the steps are more complex than the previous one, so it challenges uncoordinated people like me :) The music is very kool. So I do recommend the game except for the quality.

I think this is a nice new challenge
The game works well with the connect. I like the new songs and the workouts. I have this one and fitness rush, and I really love both of them. I think the routines in this one are harder than Fitness Rush. The animation is better in this one than Fitness Rush. I have been a Zumba fan for over 10 years, but it has really changed over the years! I was looking for some good cardio workouts, and these are really that and more! Tons of fun, and I love the challenge of trying to beat my previous performances. I think that is something you just can't get when you do a regular dvd workout video.

Disappointed
This is my first zumba experience out of the actual classroom and I'm not too crazy about it. Am I the only one who gets confused having the 'instructor' face me? I feel like I'm doing the moves backwards. Maybe that's because in real class I stand in the back. And were are the 40 hot songs new for 2014? I can't find them. And why do I want to unlock the videos? The first two seemed pretty boring.

SO MUCH FUN AND GREAT WORKOUT- BUY
I really do like this video game. I don’t have much Zumba experience and haven’t tried the previous games. I have the DVD but that got old for me quickly. When reading some of the reviews prior to purchasing I was concerned by the comments surrounding the ability to follow the steps and that the moves do not provide the strength exercise of other Zumba videos. I've had the game for almost two weeks now and it quickly became my favorite exercise activity.First on following the steps, I had to adjust watch for the visual cues of upcoming steps. Once I adjusted it was easier to follow. That being said there are some steps that are difficult to get; however, I think some steps would be difficult for me at this stage even if Beto and his crew were with me in my living room (My Samba needs serious help). Following the tip of watching the feet first then adding the arms was helpful. Regardless it is just fun and the various styles are so interesting that not executing perfectly shouldn’t be distracting.Second, the workouts vs. Dance- There are a couple of routines that may appear as dance flair, but in general it feels like exercise. The whole premise of Zumba is mixing fun upbeat moves and music for a great workout. The Irish Jig and Bollywood type dancing alone are real cardio boosts. You may not be doing obvious squats, but if you are completing the moves partially then you work all your muscles. Adding your Zumba sticks while exercising kicks-up the workout. Although it does not specifically tell you to pick up the sticks, there is no one to stop you from using them.Overall I really enjoy this product. The few functionality idiosyncrasies are slightly annoying, but nothing that would make we walk away from this product. The variety of music, interest videos, and dance style really make this a good buy.
