Perfect fit
Excellent replacement for existing chime, even into the same screw holes. Labels for wires is the same. Took 5 minutes to do the installation. Seems a tad louder than the original chime which is great. Nicely packaged. We just put the same metal decorative cover over it on the wall.Good value.

recommended as a good replacement
I purchased this inside unit because I did not realize it was included in a more complete system with cover.

Almost too quiet in the hallway.
Very low sound to doorbell, if I hadn't already had mounted it, I would send it back because you can barely hear it in the other room. Oh well, I didn't want to spend a lot and of course got what I paid for. Too quiet!

Exact replacement for existing chimes.
Exact replacement for original chimes. Old chime burned up due to a stuck button. Also replaced the button with Wyze video doorbell.

Broken when arrived.
I ordered this to replace the bell solenoid on my old Nutone doorbell. My rear door solenoid had failed and I didn’t want to replace the whole housing because it had been painted around many times. Physically it was an exact match. When I hooked it up neither the front or rear doors worked. I did a bunch of troubleshooting only to find out that the coil wires for both solenoids had bad solder joints. I re-soldered the coils and got my doorbell working again but I lost a lot of time since I assumed the new part was in better condition than my 40 year old part.
