If you are having hip replacement surgery, you need this! Even if your spouse or friend is home with you to help you get your open toed compression stocking on. This will make it so much easier. This goes over your foot and ankle. The stocking then can slip easily right over it and all you have to do is pull up the stocking where needed and pull out to slider. You can definitely even use this if you are home alone, even if you can't bend all the way down to your toes. I put this slider over a sock aid, then the compression stocking over the slider. Slip foot into the sock aid and pull and it's already then on to your ankle and you can slide it up from there! Then pull out the slider and you are done! You can even use your other foot to pull out the slider so you don't have to risk bending down more! So worth it, and when you don't need it anymore just donate it to a place that provides free medical equipment to veterans or disabled. This is one of the best investments in your health for hip surgery!

I received item but it came with only a small page of instructions ALL IN CHINESE (I believe) and no way to contact anyone who could explain how to USE THIS ITEM WITH COMPRESSION SOCKS!!!

I found this very cumbersome to use. Use if a latex glove is better. Overpriced.

I had to wear TED stockings after surgery. I bought this item based on reviews, and took it to my surgery day. The nurses were blown away when I slid the stockings on with no assistance, I simply followed the instructions in the package. Works for me - and now they have them at the outpatient surgery center, because they had never seen anything so helpful.
