if you are learning trumpet you want one of these
I received mine about a week ago... been using it for maybe 30 minutes a day since then and I could tell on the first practice it was changing my lips muscles for the better. You will see improvement in your control pretty much right away, and this brand is a solid product. It is polished enough so that there are no rough spots. I'm very happy I started using one.

Well made. No regrets
After a couple days using this training device, I noticed an improvement in my playing. The 2 'O' rings slip off easily but are unnecessary. Keep it within easy reach so that you will actually use it, but don't "over use" it. Clean it once in a while and away from other hard objects to avoid scratches. Find directions for its' use on the NET searching for the brand name product.

It works.
This is the P.E.T.E embouchure trainer, but an way less money. Had I a lathe and a chunk of aluminum laying around, I would have made one myself, but this was a lot easier. I've been using in for a couple of weeks now on a daily basis, following the P.E.T.E regimen and have gained some strength and stamina already.
