Excellent Quality, Excellent Packaging, Excellent Everything!
Mullein is a spectacularly wonderful herb for the lungs and respiratory system! This herb makes the most wonderful tea, especially when mixed with peppermint. This bulk tea is superb quality, packaged perfectly, and is just great in every regard. If you like bulk Mullein, this is it!Want to make the yummiest, and at the same time, some of the most medicinal, helpful tea you will ever drink? Here's How:Take a tea kettle. Fill it 3/4 of the way with good water. The bigger the kettle, the better. After adding the water, drop in the following:2 tablespoons of this bulk Mullein1.5 tablespoons dried peppermint leaf (I buy Anthony's here on amazon - magnificent peppermint!)1.5 tablespoons dried calendula flowers1 tea bag of Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane tea (I buy them 6 boxes at a time here on amazon)Place lid on kettle. Turn burner to high, and bring to a boil. Turn down to the lowest setting immediately after it comes to a boil (the moment the kettle starts to whistle, turn it down to the lowest setting). Let it simmer for 31 minutes. Pour into 2 quart glass container though a strainer, and then press down on the herbs with a spoon against the strainer to get all of the rest of the tea out. Tea made in this way is actually a decoction, and is many, many times the potency of any tea that is made simply by pouring boiling water over herbs or a tea bag. This is MEDICINAL TEA.Enjoy!

Really helpful
This tea is really helpful!!!! Since i was 11 years old i was suffering from severe asthma( am now 29).when even my inhalers where finished i would always end up in the emergency rooms!!as i would have severe attack where i would have to be hospitalized.am even at the point where I developed an allergic reaction to shell food due to the medication i have to be on for all these years. So last month ( June) i decided to get off these meds…. I pray to God about it and put my trust and faith in him that he will heal me,so i try to use them less than before!!! (It was ruff) but long story short one night when i came home from work i was on youtube watching a video, when an ads pop up!! Normally i would skip them once it count down to 5 but i don’t know why i was laying there just looking at this ads. But there it was !! This lady was talking about the health benefits of mullein herb it catch my attention right away and i came on amazon right away to look for it. Found this one and i can tell you i am not completely better!!! But i feel way way better!!! I use the inhaler way less than before, now when I cough mucus comes out!! It just make a whole world of difference. I see where people and complaining about how it look like chopped wood!!! But i can see where this seller gives you the whole herbs, to me it look as if it was pulled up from the root and dried and packages,in which i think that is a plus!!! Person said it don’t have any taste but i let it stem in a cover container on-till it lukewarm where i can drink it and at this point it is black and have a strong taste, and i add nothing to it!!! I can say try this out for yourself your body will tell the difference.

Great quality AND arrived days earlier than expected!
I bought both mullein and lobelia in bulk. Both seem to be top quality herbs and they arrived a few days sooner than expected which is always appreciated.Helpful hint: I did not analyze the bags before cutting open the top of the bags like I would do with most bagged items that I buy (where they zip lock below the top seal, but that must be old tech now - apparently I need to keep up!). Turns out these 8 oz bags have a very nifty feature where you can simply pull a tab to open (no scissors required) and then it becomes resealable!! So now you know!

Will last a long time.
So yeh makes a good tea, purchased to see if it works for the lungs smocking it. Yes it dose, didn't have much to clear, but I did surely feel my air way open up. Looking forward to giving it another try when cold season arrives... last day of summer today! Yeah a. Georgia is miserably hot wet humid, feel lime a sigar in a humidor.😊

Bad product in good packaging
The mullein I'd been buying was out of stock and I was desperate to have some on hand. We'd been going through it pretty quickly this year with herbal steams, tea and syrups, so I thought I'd try this economically priced one pound bag.I wish I'd taken a look at the reviews. One customer found a snail shell, another found a feather. My first scoop out of the bag produced a red piece of lint and plenty of black and brown sticks. The mullein had no discernable scent, as others I've used. It kinda looks like it wasn't dried properly before processing, because it looks kinda dark and moldy. But that could just be the abundance of dark stems and twigs.I'll be ordering a replacement from a different company and tossing this.
