Got it where it counts.
Good value for money. Taste is good. Quality of the fruit is good. The bucket is sturdy. I don't count the fake whipped cream substitute as food though. Honestly, we haven't even tried it. I suppose in a time of serious need, the calories would be welcome, but we use this as everyday food and toss the fake stuff. With just the 2 of us, opening cans of "normal" fruit from the grocery store is a waste. There's too much for a single meal, and not enough for 2 meals. With these buckets, I can measure out exactly what we need. No more waste. Money saved! Just make sure you have plenty of water.

Prepper variety
I’ve had a long time interest in history and particularly in the collapse of civilizations and countries.Try not to be a gloomy Gus, but whatever. Bottom line: most ancient civilizations collapsed slowly. They did not rely on intricate systems of food production and delivery, like we do. They did not have machinery and the intracasies it requires. Electricity? Not widely available here until a little over a hundred years ago.Bottom line: our system is far more fragile than most people realize. When we tip over it will be really fast. Most supermarkets have about 3 days worth of inventory, The trucks stop coming? Remember the recent paper towel shortage and the panic that followed?Maybe the government will save you?Stock up while you can.Items like this will provide a supplement to your basic food preps. Rice and beans will get tiring even though most of the people in the world rely on them every day. This is a good reliable brand and I’ve bought their stuff over the years.

I love Augason Farms and am glad to be able to order them
I have been wanting to order these for a long time. The price fluctuates and I finally had the money at the same time they were marked down. I have ordered about 4 or 5 of the #10 and now I have the bucket. I am very happy to have these stocked up for long term storage. Everything is getting outrageous in the grocery stores on availability and on prices. I am diabetic and I cannot eat no more than 1 or two pieces of fruit, but, my son lives with me and I bought them primarily for him. He opened the bananas immediately after opening the box for me. He probably could sit and eat the whole bag, but, he isn't. He is forcing himself to eat just a handful at a time. Also, my grandbaby may be moving here from out of state and this fruit will be a good treat for her. She is only two and I think she will love them.

STOP SCROLLING AND LEARN!
A lot of people seem to be complaining about the fruit being a very little amount for the size of the bucket. Here's what you're paying for, THE LONG TERM PACKAGE! Also, Price of freeze dried fruit itself isn't cheap. People complain about the manufacturer date sticker on the bucket saying its only 10 year shelf life, ignore it. Crack open the container, Look at the date codes on the packages itself. Also, It's not an expire date it's a best by date TWO very different things.Opening the container won't hurt your shelf life everything inside is sealed, However nobody is perfect in this world not even a company that manufacturers thousands of bags a day. You will come across a punctured bag from time to time, don't cry and whine on here about it. Call Amazon or augason farms and get it fixed. Ezpz.

THE BEST BANANA CHIPS YOU WILL EVER EAT
I ordered this and the only item I questioned was banana chips. I don’t normally like banana chips. They don’t taste like banana and they have a tough texture. When it got here I opened up everything cause who cares about a review from somebody who hasn’t even tasted it?!Apples, they’re not slices, they’re little squares but taste good. Comparable to the Mother Earth freeze dried apples.Blueberries are super good. Strawberries are good.I opened the banana chips expecting not to like them and I KILLED THE BAG. They have sugar and “banana flavor” added so they taste like a banana candy or Popsicle. The texture is crunchy not rubbery. They’re super good. I ordered a number 10 can of them immediately and I don’t even like banana chips!!!Told my dad to order this kit.
