I blend about a tablespoon into my mango smoothie pretty much daily, I didn’t start out using that much at a time, I feel like that’s a lot, but it doesn’t overpower the taste of my smoothie, it doesn’t taste overwhelmingly green, it tastes good. My mango, coconut water, chlorella, collagen smoothie actually tastes almost exactly like the Odwalla green juice, if you have that in your tastebuds as a reference. I haven’t had any digestive issues with it, I feel like that was the major concern I saw online when I was researching taking chlorella. It’s a huge bag-I transferred mine into one of my empty orgain collagen powder tubs, that makes it a lot less messy to use, dispensing it out of the bag isn’t great.

Organic check, broken cell wall check, easy to get down check. Can't ask for more. I put a good amount into a small glass of water and take it in one gulp. Pretty soon your start to crave it.

Follow-up:I upgraded by rating because of excellent customer service. That's really all you can ask for.This is just a personal thing, but this chlorella is not truly raw. It does not digest well for me, makes me slightly ill, and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I would really like to buy blue-green algae from this vendor, but I have not gotten a truly raw bag yet. Maybe this is a good time of year to purchase their spirulina?

First day after I take it I could see the difference in the amount when I poop, it detox heavy metal from your body as well as clean out your intestines, good for cleaning out the toxic chemical from your liver that they put in the food supply.

The Chlorella family of algae is the principal source of dietary oils you find in Krill, Sardines, Salmon, etc.ALA -- EPA --DHA originate in these little green guys and are at the bottom of the food chain. The fish just pass them on to us.Also a huge source of vitamin A -- so you need to be cautious and consider how much vit-A you have in you diet already -- too much is NOT a good idea.ALA when metabolized by animals are partially converted to EPA & DHA which is why Salmon, near the top of the food chain is so rich a source.Chlorella Vulgaris ( variously named ) is also a great source of Lutien/Astaxanthin!Chlorella is something you should read up on.

I started a daily chlorella routine (with Anthony's brand) one month or more BEFORE I bought this brand. I was THRILLED with the extra energy and mental clarity. and the next month I looked for cheaper and bought the micronuitrients brand. When I opened it, I noticed it was very light in color, like no other chlorella I had seen before. I was disappointed but committed.The immediate consequences were that the positive chlorealla effects were gone, no longer waking up feeling bright and clear and frankly, happier, but I ignored all that as this was the chlorella I had now. I started getting acute localized headaches, headaches that moved from place to place, and ignored them as something out of my control. I ordered more Anthony's and began that when it arrived. Two days later the headaches stopped. I was very surprised, but glad to be rid of this new health issue.I suppose it should have been obvious to consider the chlorella as the source of the headaches, but I'd had such a positive experience with the first brand of chlorella that I couldn't imagine they'd be linked, even if I didn't notice the benefits any more. I just assumed my health was in decline.I won't be buying this brand again. I am very concerned that others may have adverse effects and not recognize it. On the other hand, I notice the overall stars (4.5) is the same as Anthony's, which would certainly suggest that my experience isn't happening to everyone... maybe this was a bad batch, but how could they responsibly choose to ship a bad batch? So it's a mystery, and I will not purchase this brand again.UPDATE: After I posted this, the seller contacted me with a full refund offer, which I accepted. I think very well of the seller for this, after all, the seller is not the manufacturer, which would be where the fault lies. I am very grateful to Bayland Health for taking the initiative to apologize anyway, and offer the refund. So, 5 stars to the seller - item still at minimum star.
