Easy To Reheat and Delicious with Chicken and Bok Choy!
If you are looking for an easy dinner option and have some leftover rotisserie chicken or any leftover meats you can heat this package of rice up in a little oil in a fry pan. Then add the chicken and some sliced up bok choy and heat well. In less than 10 minutes you can have dinner for two on the table. I also topped this with some Teriyaki sauce I had in packets. You could also use some sweet-and-sour sauce or any sauce you prefer. Happy Eating!~The Rebecca ReviewP.S. I also tried this with Swanson's canned low-sodium chicken and it was delicious. I also added some McCormick grill mates Montreal chicken seasoning.

I've ordered this several times and I like it.
I first tried this product with the idea in mind to make some homemade shrimp fried rice. I do agree on a side note that it is a bit more than I wanted to pay for this in price. This is what I did with this on my first time buying this: I added fresh vegetables: corn, carrot, yellow onion and green onion. I cooked the vegetables then added them together with the rice, after frying the rice in a little oil for a bit. Then I added a couple eggs, scrambling them in the pan with the cooking rice and vegetable mixture. After stiring that all together and cooking it through I add my sauteed raw shrimp that I seasoned with salt, black ground pepper and some fine garlic powder in a bit of oil for a few minutes. Combined all together I mix them together in the hot pan so all the flavors come together. Turn off the heat and eat it. With one pack of fried rice and all those ingredients I think it can serve two to maybe three people depending on how hungry they are. If you want more rice add another package of fried rice. This turned out very good for the first time trying it this way. I have been doing exactly this every time I order this.

Chemical flavor
Ok in a pinch, but has an odd chemical taste to it. I have had other precooked microwave rice before, but this has an extra strange taste to it even after I fired it up more in the skillet with more soy sauce. Likely won’t buy again, unless I have to.

Best Instant Fried Rice (I have Found)
I LOVE this Fried Rice. Is it as good as a restaurant, of course not. For a microwave product, it's excellent. Empty out a full or half a pouch, get some Sesame Seed Oil, then add, well anything. I add chicken, beef, left over vegetables, heat it up, you're good to go. You can have it as a side-dish or empty a full packet as a full meal. DON'T add salt, but I do add Cayenne pepper to make it spicy. You can heat this up via microwave or in a pan (which is probably a bit better, maybe add a fried egg).IF you have been thinking about trying it, I can tell you I really like Fried Rice from a restaurant. This is as close as I can find that's instant/ready-made, and I have purchased A LOT OF IT, it's worth a try. I am glad I did. One last thing… There are 1000 videos on YouTube on how to make your own, if that's not your thing, get this.

Uncle Roger would not approve! This is not Asian rice.
The rice itself is like yellow rice that was colored white. The texture & taste of the rice alone is NOT Asian but more like an American cafeteria's creative experiments with leftover rice. The veggies are not Asian or what you would find in fried rice either. Overall, it's not terrible but it's also not good or okay and is nothing like actual fried rice. I kept hearing Asian food critic Uncle Roger in my head commenting. I would love to see him try it & his thoughts. I am really disappointed because usually Taste of Thai does a good job. This isn't like their own other packaged foods.
