Without a doubt!When I was reading about this product before buying it, I thought hmmmm is this really as good as everyone makes it out to be?IT IS.First of all, it is important to mention you will only get the BEST benefits from this by taking it for 15 minutes a day (5 mins, 3 times a day).If you take this product routinely you will see fantastic results.I am someone who suffers from Athsma. I dont suffer too badly but recently got a chest infection and then bronchitis to follow. Taking the salt pipe inhaler significantly reduced my breathlessness (a long with my other inhalers obviously). I did not receive as much relief from my prescribed inhalers as I did from this so that is saying something!! Its great for clearing any mucus from your lungs or just general congestion really. I would even recommend it to people suffering from sinus problems or hayfever. Even from just one use you can feel the ease in your breathing!! Whether it be from nasal congestion or congestion in the chest.If you're unsure whether or not you believe this product is as "amazing" as it says, just go for it and purchase it. Take the chance because I'm telling you its so worth it and you'll be sooo happy you got it. I am. I gave it a couple of hours to settle in the ceramic pot. Then it started working. Guess you need to let it settle for a while. It’s working perfectly now.

Wow, this product is amazing. Like other reviewers, I was skeptical about this, but moved by other's positive experiences. I felt for under £20 it was worth a punt. I suffered from severe childhood asthma but overcame this through a complete change in diet and lifestyle - initiated in childhood (I was extremely precocious!) I have therefore not been dependent on inhalers or suffered asthma attacks in years - until now, when I find myself in love with my man and his adorable dog - my dog; a long-haired springer spaniel. So I've recently begun struggling again with breathing difficulties and a cough. As soon as this arrived, I gave it a try and felt better - seriously, it was immediate. However I put this down to placebo effect. But it's been a few days now and I am definitely feeling better, coughing and wheezing much, much less. Sleeping through the night again, easily. And due to being super busy at work, I have not even been very regular with the use of it. I'm sure with more regular use, as recommended I will see even greater benefits. Therefore I heartily recommend this product to anyone in a similar position. The benefits of Himalayan salt are easy to research online - though there are some caveats too. But generally I use the pink salt in my diet (and in the bath!) and intuitively feel - in terms of the former, it is definitely helpful for topping up iron levels, etc. A really lovely product. It feels nice in your hand and mine arrived promptly. I am tempted to buy another for my partner who snores - as it apparently helps in this way too.

In view of the instructions, which stress the need to keep inhaler and contents dry, I was very disappointed to see that the box in which it came was damp, with a very wet patch at the bottom. No point in keeping it inside the box as instructed; I'm keeping it in a resealable plastic bag together with a sachet of silica gel dessicant.The manufacturers/suppliers should do the same: these sachets are extremely cheap.The product itself is nicely shaped so as to fit neatly into the hand.Does the salt therapy work? Time will tell, at which point I might revise the low star rating.

Only been using the Salt Pipe a few weeks, and I like it. Its easy to use - 10mins in the morning, 10 mins in the afternoon. When it first arrived, I used it for the full 20mins, late in the evening just before bed. Ended up having a terrible nights sleep and was thirsty as a holiday flip-flop! Lesson learned. The swelling in my nostrils has reduced considerably, as have my nose bleeds. I take the steroid 'Seritide' as I have had breathing difficulties for 2.5 years, but have already cut that down to 2 puffs a day, was on 4 puffs a day. Will be visiting Dr soon to have another peak flow test, am hoping that either nothing has changed or it has got better. The sooner I come off the steroids, the better my body will feel. I was recommended the Salt Pipe by my Homeopathist. What a genius she is. Thanks Lou x

After I ordered a salt pipe I told a friend about it and she told me about the Salt Cave http://saltcave.co.uk/adults/. As there was one within an hour's drive of where I live, and the first session is free to new clients, I decided to make a booking. I had my free session on Saturday: it's now nearly 48 hours since my session and, apart from a bit of throat clearing, I haven't coughed since. This is the first time for probably several years that I've gone that long without coughing.I can't really comment yet on whether the salt pipe is effective, as I only started using it a couple of days before my Salt Cave session, but it does appear that salt therapy has helped in my case, so I'm continuing to use the salt pipe in the hope that it will continue the good work started by the Salt Cave.I had been coughing daily for over ten years (frequently leading to throwing up quantities of mucus) and after blood tests, x-rays, a camera up the nose, inhalers, nasal sprays, antihistamines etc etc etc, the doctors had given up on me. I even tried homeopathy and acupuncture in my desparation. None of it made any difference and this is the first time I've had a glimmer of hope.

This is an excellent product to have at your disposal if you are a ashma sufferer.
