Really useful for getting the dust from deeper carpets and furniture cleaning
I like the option of running bagless with just the water filtration, as it serves 90 percent of my normal cleaning needs. The disposable bag option makes this complete for those times when hoovering up dust or powders (like spilled flour or sand, or soil spills.) Really easy to carry up and downstairs, and is very thoughtfully designed to prevent issues between the water tank use and the electrics (generally a concern for non wet/dry vac styles like this one. Not quite as strong suction as a RugDoctor, but it does the job, especially when you remove the extra brush bar from the wide nozzle which gives it much more suction to dry out the surfaces. The upholstery attachment works fine for the smaller areas, but wears you out on bigger areas larger than 3x3M. A thoughtfully designed vacuum that really traps the dust and dirt as you're moving along without sending it into the air, or requiring a HEPA filter.

My only complaint is why didn't I get this sooner!
I received this yesterday. Used it once. I live in an averagely sized 3 bedroom semi-detached house along with one cat full-time and one cat who dens here. I've used this Aqua Plus once so far to dry vacuum the whole house. I thought my last vacuum was good; only replaced it because of the dust cloud spawned when its bin is emptied. The Aqua Plus made me doubt the last vacuum even worked. The Aqua Plus is a sturdy piece of kit. I can see a lot of thought has gone into design. There is a hook on its rear to hold the suction pipe when the vacuum is stowed away. There is a fabric carrier case/bag for the attachments to be kept in. There is space on the vacuum cleaner itself for two attachments to be carried. The water filter is easy to access and easy to clean.A fabric filter bag is supplied along with an adaptor to make it usable. This only needs to be used should the water filter not be usable for some reason e.g. when there is no water available at a property. One of the cats I share my home with sheds a lot of hair. A rug load of hair every couple of months. I found it best to scoop the hair out of the water in the filter before I poured the water into the toilet bowl. It seems the best way to dispose of the wastewater is to flush the lav just as the water is poured into it; this way the wastewater flushes more efficiently. I needed to change the water 3 times on first usage, so not bad going. The Aqua Plus has a fair amount of weight to it but even so the body is not small enough to balance on a step while vacuuming stairs but, in my case, the pipe is long enough to do half the stairs from the bottom and the other half from the top landing space. The noise made by the appliance is not overly loud. It is loud but not uncomfortably so. At least not to my ears, which are quite sensitive.I will update this review if any issues occur. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase.

The best vacuum cleaner I have ever had!
I bought this vacuum cleaner a while ago and I can confidentially say that it's the best vacuum cleaner I have ever had. It's sucks up all the bits, and no dust particle can escape from the water tank meaning it clears the floor and the air from dust particles that can cause respiratory problems. I cannot iterate enough how amazing this vacuum cleaner is!

Happy tears - Updated
This hoover is SO good that it makes me want to cry. And then I want to cry a little bit more for wanting to cry over a hoover in the first place!Update in January 2016;I used the wash feature for the first time recently to wash a large 3 metre rug in my living room. Unfortunately the shampoo container is so small that I managed to do a small square area before the water ran out. However, it was simple to suck up all the water and the rug was slightly damp but dried up quickly.Unfortunately, the once amazing Thomas vacuum let me down. I left all the bits and parts to air dry, didn't pack it all away for some time just to make sure. But, about a week after when using the vacuum to hoover the house, I took the hose off the stainless steel tube to add the bristle brush head to it and noticed that there was a rusty brown mark around the hose head, looked inside the stainless steel tube to see furry black and white mould growing inside! It was obviously thanks to my failed attempt at washing the rug the previous week and I just hadn't noticed that whole time as I didn't have a reason to check inside the tube at all.The whole point of fussing with a water filtered vacuum was for its health benefits and odour control compared to my old trusty bagged Henry so this was obviously a health concern as the mould pores would surely be released in to the air with every use. With 2 toddlers in the house that was a big concern for me.I emailed Thomas via their website- no reply, nothing. So I called Amazon. As per usual they were fantastic. Quite simply just asked if I wanted it replaced? Yes please! So within 2 days they have delivered me a brand new replacement and arranged for a courier to collect the defective one. They truly are exceptional at customer service. So really my update isn't to put you off the vacuum, as it is quite simply amazing if you want every ounce of dust sucked away from your house. However, it's just to say that actually the wash function is a bit fiddly, doesn't wash well or large areas and quite frankly has been quite crap. Use it as a vacuum and you'll be happy as Larry. Use it as a carpet washer and you'll be disappointed and end up getting the Vax carpet cleaner like I did :)

If you want a really good quality, and efficiency for your money
Buy it, never I have used such effective, strong smart built vacuum cleaner... Even I don't understand, how can it work, but it does, and properly. This thing will just trap the dust from the carpet, upsholtery etc...You need to change just the water, and clean the tank away (some of the reviews mention, that its difficult to clean it. I comfirm that, it's not. Just rinse it, if you have hair, you can just take it out in a bunch, that's it.I tried it on a carpet. what was really dirty. 4-5 tank was black, full with any other dirt. The 6th was cleaner. Then I set the machine up for carpet washing... With the detergent jet, and the carpet washer head, I made the the water black, and sandy again... Efficient 120%... Love it.
