This is one of my new favorite knives. It has a nice weight to it. Solid and kinda classy.

Haven't owned long enough to know durability
I'm reviewing this based on first impressions.Ease of opening and closing and for both operations being safe, excellent. It took me about a minute to figure out how to flick this open with very little effort needed to push lock to release blade then simply flicking from a position where the blade is hanging down as gravity is enough to start the blade moving once unlocked. Maybe there's a better method but this was simple for me and feels comfortable.Next sharpness. Blade was sharpened nice and evenly from factory, was able to cut paper strips using the entire blade and the cut felt nice and smooth.Lastly, I don't see why this blade wouldn't last a long time unless it's abused. You can look up the type of metal this is and it's a good quality blade, not great, but it's good for a lower cost blade. It's tough so it will hold an edge good enough and it's fairly easy to sharpen so if you have a pull through that can deal with the hardness of this steel you should be able to use that, or you can buy a more complex sharpener that sets up to work at different angles, I don't know what the factory edge is set at, but I'll take the effort to set it at 18 degrees. This type of steel is supposedly best in the range of 16 - 22 degrees. Since I'm not dealing with any materials that are hard I can get away with 18. I set kitchen knives at 14 degrees so it's still a more durable edge than kitchen knives.I think this will end up being my EDC since it's easy to deal with this with one hand for both opening and closing the blade and that's my main concern. It's also a good size for what I'd call a medium size blade, so it's easy to carry.

Opening slow down and failure
I’m afraid the mechanism to open this knife failed after just a few weeks I can’t flip it open it I have to manually pull it open… Very disappointing would love a replacement

Es un buen producto
Suave apertura, afilada y divertida, el único detalle es que después de una semana un tornillo del poket clip se callo por si solo, asegurense de que todos los tornillo estén bien apretados

CJRB Pyrite-Alt: A Sophisticated Blade with a Tough Side
The CJRB Pyrite-Alt is the kind of knife that looks sophisticated but fights like John Wick in a three-piece suit. That 3.11" AR-RPM9 Wharncliffe blade has a clean stonewashed finish, giving it that “polished but dangerous” vibe—kind of like a hitman at a fancy cocktail party. And if you opted for the rose blade version, congrats—you now own a knife that’s both sharp and refined… but still tough. The steel handle gives it a solid, weighty feel without being a brick in your pocket. The button lock? Butter-smooth. You can flick it open and shut all day, and let’s be honest—you probably will. It’s the fidget toy for men who like their accessories to be both fun and functional.Final Verdict:The Pyrite-Alt is a sleek assassin of an EDC knife—sharp, smooth, and ready for action. Whether you're opening packages or looking cool while flipping it open, this blade delivers. John Wick would approve. Score: 9/10 🔪🔥

Great knife.
This is a great knife. I love the modified sheeps foot blade. Super thin geometry. The titanium scales look very cool and are comfortable. I had some lock-stick at first, but it went away with break in. The action is extremely smooth. I find that this is often the knife I reach for daily from my collection.
