I made a Peruvian sauce with this Ají chili paste and what a difference it made, delicious! I had originally made the sauce without the chili but didn’t taste right so I had the Ají chili delivered overnight and soooo glad I did, my sauce was the hit of the dinner party 🎉

I bought this for my Peruvian recipes and it adds that authentic Peruvian yellow pepper flavor, without adding heat. A nice option if you're trying to cook for non-spicy eaters. I just add some Peruvian hot sauce to my own plate to restore some kick, but this paste is great for adding the appropriate flavor. In recipes that call for actual Aji Amarillo peppers, I just add extra paste and it helps fill-out the dish. Glad I found this one! Arrived undamaged, with the seal intact. Price was in line with other specialty items. Good stuff.
