Fun and easy to use
This gyroscope is the first one that I have ever gotten and I think it's easy to use and functions the way it should. After some practice I managed to wind it up easily and spin it without a problem. I've had it for about two months now and I have been spinning it multiple times a day. After all of that, it still works just as fine as it did the day I got it.The product comes with two strings and a ball for better grip when pulling it to spin (I soon took it off since I found that easier for me). Since I spun it so much the string soon became frayed and it was hard to insert the string through the hole on the axle. How I fixed this was by simply cutting the end that was frayed and taking a lighter and waving the flame over it just a little bit to melt the tip. This worked out perfectly so it definitely will last for quite some time (if the newly formed end would is too big to fit through the hole, I would use a nail file or something to sand it down until it could fit). There once was an incident where it was dropped from a table and landed on concrete and the disk popped out of it's frame. Fortunately, after some effort I managed to pop the disk back into it's frame, good as new. It did, however, take a bit of force to pop it back in. I was afraid of breaking the frame since I was pushing so hard but it held up just fine. The only problem that I came across (not associated with it being dropped) is whenever I spun it it would sometimes make a loud vibrating sound. This usually would happen if I stood it up perpendicular to the floor while it spun. However, after a quick readjustment the vibration stops (the vibration noise doesn't affect the spin function).Overall, I love this toy and it's very fun and easy to use! The tricks you can do with it will always amaze me and it's a fun little introduction to torque and precession for those curious minds out there.

There's a lot of vibration
I didn't expect it to vibrate that much, or make that kind of noise.I was expecting a quiet gyroscope that would spin freely for a longer time

Not the best quality
Overall the product is good but not great. It's threads end was not sharpened and I had to do with a lighter. The base should have been little heavier otherwise it wobbles little bit.

A Pretty, Well-made, and Inexpensive Great Spinner
This little spinner is a great buy. Although very inexpensive, it is very well made. The brass rim and the silicon nitride bead on the bottom are features found on considerably more costly spinners. I’ve had this spinner just 4 days and have already gotten a spin time of 3 minutes and 15 seconds on a carefully leveled iPad. I’ve already ordered a concave glass lens for more convenient attempts at longer spin times. Basically, i have absolutely no complaints about my purchase. No, I recommend this little guy as a fine way to get addicted to the world of spinning! UPDATE: Well, with an inexpensive magnifying mirror used for makeup and eyebrow-plucking duties, i have now hit the 5 minute mark on spin time. It is truly bizarre — and great — that such a little chunk of pretty metal can become so obsessively time-consuming! I am a 72 year-old unstable former genius who loves his spinner — and the others which will follow!

Exact Description Needed of All GYROSCOPES
They sent me a gyroscope which was not a precise match with their description. As I was sifting through three consecutive flatbed scanners which all had an extremely loose USB connection in the back of the scanner. I added a neutral comment. Joytech sent me a personal email asking why I would leave an unfinished comment. Working in a Chinese restaurant for twelve years, I noticed this as unusual language as to why I left the comment. I was asked Joytech to change it. I told them that I would like for them to build me a custom gyroscope, and I would be happy keeping the other gyroscope as a gift. About 8 weeks after getting the gyroscope, I tried to use the gyroscope. After the third spin, the middle just fell out in my hands, I thought it was broken Upon magnification, I was shocked to find that the machinery was at fault because it was not broken. Most likely, this is a machining issue. They said that for whatever reason you can return the item. There is no customer service. They can contact me directly, however, I am not able to contact them. I might be a fool, yet, most transactions I have conducted for the last forty-six years are the opposite to this brand new trial model of commerce, however, a smaller amount of transactions allowed mutual and equal correspondence. They provided an inaccessible Gmail address, and they never replied to my request in asking JoyTech fort a custom made or another much better gyroscope Asa result, this brand new commerce model molds an adversarial relationship between many parties. This new trial commerce model perpetuates many adverse issues. If you as an individual were to open up a telephone salesroom, and you intentionally avoid providing a customer service department, you would be sent to federal prison. Watch Out, I would call Amazon and ask what are the seller's negatives. I apologize, I have tried this, yet there, again, is a lapse. I am sure that JoyTech and others will learn what this fairly recent reproduction will benefit them if they play by the demands and the mandates. I hope JoyTech makes a gyroscope that looks like an animated thespian. This would be spectacularly fun and an amazing experience. I wonder how the credit card company contracts will react when their executives see these exciting innovations and their unlimited potential applications.
