I have tried this type pf dates before and is usually good. But this time it was horrible. Dry and not edible at all, which explains the 13% discount on this product now.

These Al Awja dates packaged by Al Madina are a superior product. The dates were moist, flavorful, tender, and sweet without an overpowering flavor. In addition, the dates were well packaged in a sealed box, assuring a quality product delivered into your hands. You will not regret purchasing these Saudi made and grown dates.

It does taste good however the price is more than double the local store

These dates are full of iron and other health benefits - which is why we bought them. Great for blood disorders and general health. We buy a lot of dates, and have local sources for mehjool dates but wanted something with more a deep flavor profile. These fit the bill. The dates have a chewy, sweet carmel taste to them that was fantastic. Obviously these are grown out of the US and need to be imported which takes time to get to the States, so we expected them to be drier than our local dates, and they were. So if you want juicy dates, these are not for you. They are slightly drier, but the favor was outstanding and we enjoyed them immensely. The price we paid was substantially lower than what we would pay in local persian stores to get the same box.

These are one of my favorite dates, they taste like caramel especially if you store them in the fridge. Works great to satisfy sweet cravings.
